• I am a no frills, super relaxed yogi and mental health therapist. I feel very passionate about travel, nature, yoga (of course), and my sweet dog (Bear Dog). I try to live in the moment (although this is not always easy) and live life to the fullest. When I am not practicing or teaching myself you can find me enjoying belly laughs with my friends or day dreaming about my next adventure. I also volunteer with a program that teaches Mindfulness & Yoga to children in Title I schools, and let me tell you there is something so magical about a group of 20+ second graders running through sun salutations!

  • I received my 200 hour RYT from Mission Yoga in Downtown Charleston in 2016, and have been teaching for STY since fall of that year. I also have a master’s degree in Psychology/Counseling, which compliments my yoga training quite beautifully.

  • I feel that there is something to learn from most every experience and everyone you meet. I (try) to keep my mind open to new inspirations on a daily basis.

  • Music!!! Whether it be live at a show or some good old fashioned throw back tunes. Wine and cheese nights with my girl friends which always results in belly laughs. Early morning beach walks with my dog. Sitting in a hammock under the humongous oak tree in my back yard and reading. Traveling.

  • To help you drop into the current moment and let the day to day stress melt away, even if it is only for an hour.

  • In 2011, I had brain surgery to remove a tumor (I’ve been tumor free for 7 years now woo-wooo).

  • My overall positive state of mind and fairly laid back attitude (most of the time). My tendency to see the best in others.

  • "Yoga is the practice of tolerating the consequences of being yourself.” (Bhgavad Gita) "Reach out your hand if your cup be empty, If your cup is full may it be again” (Ripple, The Grateful Dead- so many gems of wisdom in this beautiful song)
