• Mama, wife, health coach, teacher of yoga and geology. Always making to-do lists because they bring me a lot of peace. Dreamer, tons of big ideas in my head and, some actually bear fruit...the others just keep me happy to think of. Got some travel and wanderlust out of my system in my 20's (I never thought I would be happy sitting still in one place!) so that I am now feeling grounded being at home on Folly. But the Charleston area does not tend to leave one wanting for much. I am extremely grateful for my life, and hope that I can pay that back many times over to the world. What I would love to communicate through yoga is that, you are enough. You are awesome. And you have it all in you to go out and be and do great. Of course I forget that myself sometimes, but the mat and the breath help me get back to center.

  • I am also prenatal certified through Holy Cow yoga Center (Charleston SC) and recently received my 500 hours through Jason Crandell Yoga.

  • SO many! Above all, people. People who maintain gratitude and love when faced with challenges, people who fight for injustice, people who are content and listen to themselves and others. But nature, specifically the ocean, is also an amazing inspiration for me.

  • Probably vacation. I find a million little things to do at home. I love seeing new places, and I always love coming home.

  • To be authentic and be the best version of me, and to bring out authenticity and the best version of others.

  • I worked on research ships for years (my background is in marine geology). One of them, which I lived on for three years, traveled extensively around the Pacific and is where met my husband.

  • I truly love people and like to do whatever I can to make them realize they are amazing, and to bring out the best in them.

  • “I did then what I knew how to do. Now that I know better, I do better.” –Maya Angelou …It’s so forgiving and gentle but also calls you to task once the lesson is learned.
