• My name is Kelsey Ashy I am originally from Charleston, SC. I attended Kennesaw State University where I got a degree in Dance. Dance and yoga are my biggest passions and I love how the two movements compliment one another so well.

  • I have been a yoga instructor for four years now. I am a certified 500 RYT. I got my 200 hour yoga certification from PeachTree Yoga Center in Atlanta Georgia, and I got my 300 hour certification in holistic psychology and intuitive wisdom with School Yoga Institute in Costa Rica.

My certifications really feed my passion for all the benefits yoga has to offer. To me, yoga is way more than just a physical workout. It is a way to really tune into yourself and become aware of the full power you have to offer.

  • I am inspired by the people around me. I love seeing my past classmates dance works and how they are taking on the dance world. I also love taking other teachers' yoga classes and seeing how they utilize all the different poses to make a unique class.

  • I love hanging out with my friends especially if it involves tacos and margs!! I love being around live music and any chance to dance around is a good time for me. I also love hanging out with my puppers Nevaeh!

  • To constantly tune into your body and mind and listen to what it needs at this moment. I always close class by asking my students to give gratitude to their body and mind for giving them what they wanted and deserved today.

  • I wanted to be a dolphin trainer growing up until I was complaining one day about science class and my mom brought to my attention that was what I would have to study in school. That is when I decided I would pursue dance instead. haha!

  • I love my kindness and smile. I also love my accountability if I say yes or commit I will always follow through.

  • I am honestly not a big quote person but one of my favorite passages is “Dear Fear” by Elizabeth Gilbert from her book Big Magic. - ANAïS NIN
